Pixalition

Pixilation is another form of stop motion animation its sort of like model based animation however intead of using cut outs or plastercine models its made with live people.

This technique came about a while ago back in 1952. It was created by a man called Norman McLaren who made a short film called "Neighbours".

I think people enjoy Pixilation animation because it is live people and if you were to make the models hover in the air for a long time it is more impressive than if you were to see a drawing animation do it.

Another example of Pixilation Animation is one that I found on the internet. I really enjoyed this video as i think it is very creative and unique to others i have seen. It is amazing because instead of only having one movement in the video there is loads of different things moving. Making this video must have taken a while and you can tell alot of work went into it.

This one is called "Her Morning Elegance" by Yuval and Merav Nathan.

Another one of Norman McLarens was an animation called Pas de Deux.

The choreography for this video was done so well that the ballet was able to get in the exact same position from the begining
